Autologous Immune Enhancement Therapy (AIET) for cancer, in collaboration with NCRM available at:

Cirrhosis of Liver is a chronic disease of the liver mainly caused by Alcoholism and Viral infection (Especially hepatitis C) in which normal liver cells and tissue are destructed and replaced by fibrotic scar tissue as well as regenerative nodules, leading to progressive loss of liver function. There has been no definitive treatment available for such progressive disease to repair the damaged liver cells/ tissues. In the long run, severely affected liver will culminate in liver failure. The treatment to made available is as per the protocols of Prof. Sakaida of Yamaguchi University, Ube, Japan, who have for the first time in the world proven that patients own bone marrow stem cells can effectively repair the damaged liver due to cirrhosis in both animal experiments* as well as clinical trials**. Subsequent to the initiation of a collaboration between his team and that of NCRM and the following exchange of technological know-how, the stem cell treatment for liver cirrhosis is to be implemented in Chennai, India. In this treatment, 300~400 ml of patients bone marrow is taken, from which the stem cells are isolated taking 5~6 Hrs and then injected to the patient. Such treatment has been proven to reduce ascites and other symptoms and in ultrasound as well as CT scan improvement of the liver tissue. The liver biopsy taken after the treatment showed significantly improved levels of AFP and PCNA compared to the pre-treatment levels confirming the repair by the infused stem cells. This treatment which repairs the damaged liver tissue due to Cirrhosis of above mentioned causes, this is not an Anti-Viral treatment.
