Research in autism
Our research in autism using a biological response modifier glucan has proven that it is possible to control or suppress the harmful gut microbiome such as Enterobacteriaceae and E.Coli in the gut. In a clinical pilot study in children with autism spectrum disorder, when the Enterobacteriaceae declined after consumption of AFO-202 strain of Aureobasidium Pullulans produced beta 1,3-1,6 glucans, a correlating clinical improvement in terms of behavior, sleep quality and pattern along with serum of Alpha-synuclein and melatonin were observed.
