FIRST ANNIVERSARY OF NCRM : 17 October 2006 |

An eventful year of NCRM is to be commemorated with a series of events of significance; Significance to the medical, paramedical personnel and the students in Biology, Biotechnology, Life Sciences and Medicine; and above all the the ailing fellow human beings.
The following are the events we are planning for the 1st anniversary: 1. An inter-institutional quiz on Stem cells & Regenerative Medicine (1330-1730) A quiz competition named after a renowned Japanese physician Dr Fujio Takayama between 1130-1730 Hrs ; Click for details.
2. A symposium on Regenerative Medicine (1700-1900) Stem cells and Regenerative Medicine is NOT something you hear from the East or West; but its close to your doorsteps at Chennai as NCRM centered work on stem cells will be presented by experts from within the country and abroad. 3. The Anniversary Function (1900-2000) Programme: 1900- Dignitaries to the dais 1905- Invocation & Medical Litany Recital 1910- Welcome address & Presentation of annual report 1915- Felicitations Dr.S.S.K.Marthandam (Vice chancellor, SRMC & RI) 1920- Feedback from one student & one staff of participating institute of the Fujio Cup Quiz 1928- Prize Distribution: By the chief guest 1935- Address by the guest of honour: Prof. Shigeo Tsukahara, Vice president, Yamanashi University, Japan 1942- Address by the Chief guest H.E. Mr. Yoshiaki Kodaki, The consul general of Japan, Chennai. 1952- Vote of thanks 1958- National anthem 2000- Meeting adjourned for Banquet Venue: Hotel Savera; Samavesh Hall |
